The Sioux Empire Fair Homebrew Contest was held last week. Preliminaries were Thursday August 9 with 73 entries from Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. Fifteen beers made the finals on Saturday August 11. Entries ranged from wheat beers to ciders to Russian imperial stouts.
The contest was organized by Justin Johnson of Taylor’s Pantry (Good Spirits) in Sioux Falls.
