Luverne Brew Partners Opening This Summer

Luverne Brew Partners will open a brewery this summer in Luverne, MN.  It will be at 505 and 509 E. Main Street.

Luke Rensink of Sioux Falls, founder and former partner in Heist Brewery, has been hired as head brewer. Bo Belanger, owner and founder of South Shore Brewery in Ashland, Wis., brings his skills as master brewer and has been hired as project consultant.

“Bo brings 17 years of experience in developing and marketing unique, award-winning craft beers to this initiative, and Luke brings energy, creativity and passion,” said Larry Lanphere of Luverne Brew Partners in a press release. “We’re excited to have Bo and Luke join our team, and we look forward to working with them to create a new variety of great-tasting, high-quality craft beers.” according to  www.oursiouxland.com.

The brewery is expected to produce more than 5,000 barrels in the initial years of production, and will be sold to both the retail and wholesale markets.
The brewery will also include a banquet/event area that will accommodate approximately 200 people. It will also will be open to the public for free tours and tastings.
