Limestone Brewing Company

We visited the Limestone Brewing Company on July 2 for dinner and beer.  Chuck and his family were our hosts.  The brewpub is spacious and they offer their own beers brewed onsite as well as a nice list of guest beers.  Chuck and I started with the Indian Boundary Ale which is an Indian Brown Ale (a hybrid of a brown ale and an American Pale Ale).  It was a good start.

We ordered calamari and nachos as appetizers.  They were both tasty!  The next beer tried was the Pilcher Pale Ale with Amarillo hops.  I consider myself a “hophead” and this beer hit the spot.

My Angus burger soon arrived which I paired with the Flying Pig Imperial IPA – a nice blend of hops, malt and alcohol.  This was a fitting end to the meal!

Co-owner Rob Monaco took the time to give us a brewery tour after the meal.  It was interesting to see how the equipment was located in the pub.  Thanks to Rob and Limestone Brewing for a good visit!  This brewpub is definitely worth visiting.

PS – A Binny’s is just north of Limestone in the same strip mall if you need to pick up some beer to go!

  1. Well, thanks for visiting, Papa Dale. I am glad you liked our place. Just a bunch of locals making it work. And having fun doing it. Ask for me next time you are in.
