Sága IPA is a new year round offering from the Summit Brewing Company. It is named after the Norse goddess Sága, drinking companion of the God Odin. It is a more American style IPA compared to their India Pale Ale (an English style). You will love this beer if you love American IPAs (like me)!
The beer pours deep gold with a generous head into a pint glass. The aroma is a mixture of grapefruit and tropical fruit. The taste is hoppy citrus/tropical fruit mixture that should appeal to IPA fans.
ABV = 6.4%
IBUs = 80
Malt = 2-Row Pale & Caramel
Hops = Centennial, Amarillo, Citra, Rakau & Horizon (dry hopped with Amarillo, Citra & Rakau)
$7.99/6 pack of 12 ounce bottles
Try this beer if you love American IPAs and hops!
