Beer Review – Summit Extra Pale Ale

Summit EPA
Summit Extra Pale Ale

Summit Extra Pale Ale by Summit Brewing Company, St. Paul, MN.

ABV = 5.3%

IBUs = 40-45

This clear golden ale has a light hop aroma and a one finger off white head.  It is well balanced and the hops are not overpowering.  This is a good beer, and it is sessionable.  I will definitely buy this again.

Grade = B+

Note – This beer was awarded a gold medal at the recent World Beer Cup in the Classic English-Style Pale Ale Category.  Congratulations Summit!
